The playoffs are just hours away, and we've had the chance to talk to ToT)yentA(, Smacker and our shoutcaster Warrior-350-, for their predictions on the playoffs, and thoughts on how the groupstage turned out.
What do you think about the outcome of the groupstage?

The only result I was surprised by was Sen leaving group B. I really expected BRAT_OK or FengZi to advance from this group, and I didn't think Sen was active enough. I'm sad my clanmate ParanOid was unable to qualify out of group C, and was hoping he would pull an upset over Pj. Other than that, business as usual for the Koreans.

Well everything went as I expected, the only surprise was A2 coming out second in group D, as I was rooting for White-Ra. And Kolll's performance was a surprise as well. I expected rather the Chinese to advance from their groups, you know they are something like progamers in Korea.

I never doubted Jaedong to advance, I don't think anyone's surprised by that. As for Kolll advancing he was one of my three foreigners i picked to advance so I am excited to see how he does.
Seeing Sen advance is really exciting, as he is one of my favorite Zergs and always has been. Group C was a bit of a disappointment, I was hoping Dimaga and or Pj would be able to snipe games from Bisu but in the end Bisu proved why Koreans are dominant in the game and Pj's Chinese training paid off.
Group D was a big surprise, I really thought White-Ra would advance due to A2's inactivety and White-Ra's recent results.
What do you expect of the playoffs?

I predict JaeDong to meet Bisu in the semi-finals - I don't see A2 or Sen upsetting either of them on their way. Stork vs Pj is an interesting matchup because of all the qualified foreigners I think Pj has the biggest chance to score an upset. I think it will come down to Stork's ability to perform. IdrA vs Kolll - while I hope for a kolll upset, I know he plays a bit too standard to trick IdrA up. Most likely Stork will face IdrA, where he'll move onto the Grand Final without much of a problem. 3rd place match will be between Bisu and IdrA. I predict 1st JaeDong, 2nd Stork, 3rd Bisu.
Smacker:
JaeDong vs A2 will probably be a rape from JaeDong, but it could be a good game if JaeDong plays like he did vs Zim_. Bisu will also beat Sen badly. For Stork vs Pj it's different though, after watching the Bisu vs Pj game I'm sure he can surprise us with a good game against Stork. IdrA vs Kolll will be just a standard game, though I'd like to see some entertainment game, with some crazy builds like the old days. But it's not going to happen.

I really wanna see Kolll beat Idra, more or less cause I am a zerg fan and I enjoy Kolll's style. PJ vs Stork I think will be the best match out of the 4, those two are both top level protoss players and should give a damn good show. I am hoping PJ can take revenge and beat Stork but expect Stork to win. I dont think A2 can handle JaeDong, so im saying without a doubt JaeDong will advance. Bisu vs Sen... same as A2 I dont think Sen can take Bisu, I hope he does but I dont think it will happen. For the finals I expect JD vs Stork but anything can happen between Pj and Stork and Koll/Idra can pull and upset...
