Me, miss? Not by a long shot.
Another Arcane character is making the jump into 2XKO, the League of Legends fighting game. This time, the Piltover Sheriff Caitlyn Kiramman is joining the roster, bringing her Hextech Rifle into the fight.
The announcement was revealed through a new trailer shared on 2XKO’s official social media channels:
The gameplay reveal shows Caitlyn using her rifle as part of her normal and special moves, switching things up with multiple attack variations rather than relying on a single combat type. Throughout the trailer, she is shown fighting a wide range of opponents, including Darius, Ahri, Yasuo, Illaoi, Blitzcrank, Warwick, Jinx, and Vi.
Two skins were also showcased. One is Caitlyn’s classic League of Legends look, complete with her Sheriff hat. The second is based on Arcane, featuring a shorter hairstyle tied back into a high ponytail. Caitlyn will become playable in 2XKO between 20–21 January, depending on region, and will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
Her release coincides with the launch of 2XKO Season 1, where she joins an existing lineup that includes Vi, Jinx, Warwick, Ekko, Ahri, Yasuo, Blitzcrank, Braum, Illaoi, Darius, and Teemo.
Caitlyn's moveset
Riot Games also released a separate video detailing Caitlyn’s full moveset as a gameplay guide:
Several of Caitlyn’s abilities from League of Legends have been adapted for 2XKO. Her 90. Caliber Net appears under the name “Bola”, though it lacks the golden visual seen in both LoL and Arcane. Her Yordle Snap Trap also carries over, complete with the cupcake design, but has been renamed to “Enticing Trap”, possibly reflecting 2XKO’s currently limited number of Yordle characters outside of Teemo.
Piltover Peacemaker is included with the same name, but instead of functioning as a standalone move, it is incorporated into combo strings where it can deal heavy damage. Caitlyn’s League of Legends ultimate, Ace in the Hole, also serves as her super move in 2XKO.
In addition to abilities adapted from LoL, Caitlyn’s kit includes extra rifle-based attacks, a Hextech shield mechanic, and several roll and evasive movement options designed specifically for the fighting game format.
