Kenny Omega as Alex in Street Fighter 6

Kenny Omega is widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, dominating the sport over the past two decades and currently leading The Elite stable in the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) promotion. Beyond the ring, Omega is a passionate gamer, particularly fond of the Street Fighter franchise, even sharing gameplay clips on his YouTube channel years ago. Given his long-standing connection with Capcom and SF, his involvement with Street Fighter 6 was only natural.

Omega will portray the upcoming DLC fighter Alex, a character first introduced in the 1997 Street Fighter III. Alex is set to join the modern roster in Street Fighter 6 on 17 March, coinciding with a gameplay patch update.

Expect a more ruthless version of Alex, upgraded with “a scary new stance, over 10 throws, and moves that seamlessly transition into others,” according to Capcom. His expanded arsenal includes signature attacks like Flash Axe!, Flash Chop!, Power Bomb!, as well as devastating combo moves such as the Aerial Knee Smash.
