The groupstage is done, LGD.int tops Group A and iG tops Group B - ensuring that these two teams can not meet before the Grand Final.
The new team, ViCi Gaming, opened in an unfortunate manner, getting 0-4 in game score. For them to be able to accomplish something after iG beat MUFC 2-0, they would need to beat TongFu 2-0 and then go through the tiebreakers. The first game started off poorly for them and it looked like TongFu were winning the first map, thus sealing ViCi's fate in the tournament. But ViCi came back, won game 1 and managed to take game 2 aswell. After three intense tiebreaker games, MUFC eventually went down to TongFu in the last game even though it looked like they might be able to force it to a new threeway tie - but didn't happen in the end. Veronica after being a non-force all game suddenly appeared with the Reverse Polarity of his life.
DK and MUFC are the eliminated teams after the group stage. The quarter finals go down tomorrow with For.Love vs TongFu and LGD vs ViCi Gaming.
