CLG opt'ed for the global push, picking up both Prophet and Tinker. Mouz countered it well with a Storm Spirit who spells death to a global pusher such as those two. They also picked up Broodmother to help out adding lane pressure. Both Storm and Brood also went for Orchid of Malevolence as their first pick-ups to really shut down the 5-int cast reliant heroes of CLG. Pajkatt got a decent game off with his Leshrac, but went for a Bloodstone when perhaps a straight Black King Bar would have been wiser, as he ended up silenced most of the time. Mouz played well and took control of the game, their strategy worked out and game one was in the bag.

A similiar story was told in the second game. CLG didn't go for the global push this time, but they picked up casting heavy heroes, which were once again countered by Broodmother and his Orchid. And this time it was mouz who had the heroes to add pressure. Even though CLG won some fights, they couldn't keep up with the pushing power coming out of Broodmother and Prophet. Black^ with his Queen of Pain did his share to help out with the map control, his nukes were devasting for the low health heroes of CLG. One Orchid and two Sheepsticks later, game two was in the bag as well.
Counter Logic Gaming takes the bronze medal and the 1,500€ that follow with it. Mousesports move on to the grand final versus compLexity, which is scheduled to start in just a little while.
