League of Legends fans are looking forward to the biggest international tournament outside Worlds.

More than $180,000 will be on the line next week. Between March 12-15, eight teams will be rumbling in Katowice, Poland in one of the largest, highest-paying international tournaments in professional League.

IEM started collecting participants for their World Championship with the launch of the ninth season in Shenzhen, where World Elite were crowned victorious after a 2-1 against Invictus Gaming. Since then, the circuit has made stops in San Jose (USA), Cologne (Germany) and Taipei (Taiwan), adding Cloud 9, Gambit Gaming and Yoe Flash Wolves to the list.

More teams came from the heights of the premier League of Legends leagues. From North America hailed Team Solomid who locked their place after finishing first after week five and who continue to rule the charts in the NA LCS. Same goes for SK Gaming, coming to IEM World Championship as the kings of Europe, a title they're currently sharing with Fnatic.

Two teams were also taken from the Korean LCK. Still undefeated, GE Tigers came first as the undisputed leader and were joined later by CJ Entus.

This means that every major region will be represented in Poland next week, and now we know just who is facing who. Groups are in a double elimination format, meaning two teams of each will advance to the playoffs.
