With 40% of the broadcast devoted to what tournament organizers call “extra content”, Kings of the Storm promises to be a unique opportunity to watch Heroes.
One of the worst things about watching competitive Heroes is the down time. Between matches, viewers sometimes have to wait upwards of 30 minutes with nothing but a simple countdown to keep them company. If this detail always bugged you, Kings of the Storm may be the tournament for you.
Here are some of the things the tournament organizer from Heroes of the storm promises between matches:
- Pre-recorded material
- Entertaining content (Interviews, parody, content created by our Crew)
- Section with Hosts / Guests
All in all, it sounds like a great time. The top amateur teams from EU will clash over the course of a month to determine who is the best
Tournament Dates
Number 1 - 16th of March
Number 2 - 23rd of March
Number 3 - 30th of March
Number 4 -6th of April
Playoffs:Quarter Finals: 8th of April
Semi Finals and Grand Final: 9th of April 2
Kendrick Swissh will be casting and hosting the event, so be sure to turn in early on the stream. There will be a host of other activities, including the live streaming of Boogie the CS:GO caster trying to learn Heroes of the Storm between matches. It promises to be educational, but I have a feeling it is going to be funnier than anything else
You can find the list of teams participating here. Some notable teams to look out for include mYinsanity, Team Expert, Synergy, Måå and ERZGamers. All of the above are also participating in the HGC Open Divison.
