Team Dignitas are the favorites to win, making Group A a tough place to be. Group B seems evenly matched with Never Lucky being the clear underdog.
Only days after Dreamhack Austin concluded, it's time to for Heroes fans to look towards EU for the next batch of high intensity tournament matches. We saw Kael'thas, Illidan, Tyrande, and even Rexxar grace the draft screen in Austin, and in just three days will we get our first look at the EU meta since the latest balance update.
The Groups have just been revealed. Take a look:
Group A
teh89
Team Dignitas
mYinsanity
Put it in the Chips
Group B
Team Liquid
Fnatic
Evil Murkies
Never Lucky
The favorites in each group are easy to pick, but EU is known for its unpredictable top teams. Who knows whether or not Evil Murkies, Never Lucky, or Put it in the Chips can cause an upset-- for these teams there is nothing to lose and all to gain. Teh89 sounds like a new team, but one look at their roster tells a different story. While no longer playing for Na'Vi, this roster is a top tier EU team.
Team Dignitas is in prime position to take the whole tournament. Hot off a 5 tournament-match win streak and their latest win at the EU Summer regional, Dignitas is bringing some much needed consistency to the EU heroes scene.
