We get it Blizzard, you make awesome skins and all of our wallets are empty. Let's get real now, how long was Uther stunned and displaced in this video?
So before we get into it, take a look at the following video if you haven't already. In it you will find the newest wallet destroyers by Blizzards art team, including a Li Li skin that is so cool, she is probably a higher tier hero when wearing it:
Cool skins right? Artanis is surprisingly seeing some play lately with his newest buffs, so that Shogun skin is a mighty cool investment. Mecha Dehaka looks immaculate and just saying it rolls of the tongue. Speaking of tongue...
Watch the 00:46 mark of the video.
Dehaka pls...
What you will see is nearly two seconds of Uther being incapitated, while also being pulled into more danger. You'll also see a quick skill shot that's hard to dodge and will probably have a decently low cooldown (at least lower than Stitches' hook) that will set up any allied stun or skill shot perfectly.
To quote my self in my earlier article about Dehaka speculation:
Looks like Dehaka is shaping up to be the real deal. If my read on competitive Heroes is correct (and I think it is) Drag alone will be hugely powerful in even the most basic of compositions designed to take advantage of it. As always, we haven't seen the numbers on Dehaka's abilities or stats so this is still mostly theory crafting.
My prediction
But some things you just know are going to be meta shifting. 8 months ago I was preaching that sweet Mighty Gust gospel and my thoughts on that heroic have since been vindicated. Turns out that controlling heroes movements on a low cool down is super powerful.
And that is exactly what Dehaka's Drag looks like it can do. I'm saying it right now: if unchanged from it's current version as teased in this skin trailer, Drag will be the new Mighty Gust.
