COGnitive Gaming today announced the departure of two of their team members: assassin player Syracuse, and warrior player Scylol. With Scylol and Syracuse are leaving the team, the two remaining slots remain unfilled. While KilicK substituted for COG at Heroes Rising, it does not look like he will be permanently joining the team.
COG has consistently performed moderately well in the Americas, placing in the Top 8 in the majority of tournaments they have participated in, as well as being in the Top 4 of the Americas Championship. However, the team went 0-2 at Heroes Rising, losing to Panda Global and Bob Ross Fan Club.
What does the future hold for this team? While COG may be incomplete at this point in time, members Iakona, cattlepillar, and Dylux are still holding on tightly to the team, and will be continuing with the new roster. COGnitive will be back soon to the American scene – when exactly is not known for certain.
