LoL K/DA teams up with Louis Vuitton for new art book ahead of comeback

The virtual pop group is getting a luxury collectible just days before its long-awaited return.

Riot Games, the developer of League of Legends, has announced a new collaboration with French luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton, featuring an illustrated art book dedicated to virtual pop group K/DA.

Titled Tempo Point, the book follows Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai'Sa through 24 hours of their individual lives. It launches on Friday (16 October), just days before K/DA's anticipated comeback on 20 October.

What is K/DA's Tempo Point art book from Louis Vuitton?

Part of Louis Vuitton's Travel Book collection, Tempo Point offers a glimpse into the individual lives of K/DA's four members, Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai'Sa, beyond their performances as virtual pop stars. The collection traditionally features illustrated journeys through real and imagined destinations, with artwork contributed by artists from around the world. For this release, the illustrations are presented in six-colour printing, housed in a cloth-bound hardcover book with a silk-screened cover.

K/DA x Louis Vuitton Tempo Point prices, editions, and where to buy

Tempo Point launches in three editions, including two limited releases for collectors.

  • Standard Edition (US$68): A hardcover edition available through Louis Vuitton stores, its official website, and selected bookstores.
  • Collector's Large-Format Edition (US$245): Features the same artwork in a larger format, with only 400 copies available worldwide.
  • Exclusive limited edition (price upon request): Limited to just 30 signed and numbered leather-bound copies, each accompanied by an exclusive vinyl record. Available only at selected Louis Vuitton stores.

The Standard Edition will also be showcased at the League of Legends Worlds 2026 Fan Fest in New York from 12 to 14 November.

Riot Games and Louis Vuitton's previous League of Legends collaborations

This isn't the first time Riot Games and Louis Vuitton have worked together. The two companies first announced their partnership in 2019, with the French fashion house creating a specially designed travel case for the Summoner's Cup, the trophy awarded to the winners of the League of Legends World Championship.

Their collaboration soon made its way into the game itself, with Louis Vuitton-designed Prestige Edition skins for Qiyana and Senna, both members of League of Legends' virtual hip-hop group True Damage. The skins were created in collaboration with Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton's Artistic Director of Women's Collections.

By 2020, the partnership had expanded to K/DA, with Louis Vuitton providing outfits for the group and guest artist Lexie Liu, who voiced Seraphine in the music video for "MORE". Tempo Point now marks another collaboration between the fashion house and Riot Games' virtual artists.

K/DA teases comeback with Start a Fire on 20 October

K/DA's history stretches back to 2018, when the group debuted with the hit single "POP/STARS". Its success was followed by the 2020 EP ALL OUT, featuring songs such as "MORE", "THE BADDEST", and "VILLAIN", before the group went on an extended hiatus.

Six years later, K/DA appears ready to make its long-awaited return. On Wednesday (14 October), the group shared a teaser through its official Instagram account, featuring the eyes of Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai'Sa alongside the words "Start a Fire" and the date 20 October.

While Riot Games has yet to confirm whether "Start a Fire" is a new song or part of a larger project, the teaser has raised anticipation for K/DA's first new release since 2020. More details about the group's comeback are expected on 20 October, just four days after Tempo Point hits shelves.
