Group stages of the Heroes Battle Arena ended December 10th and since then December 14th was the plan for the playoffs.
Originally planned for early December, the playoffs had to be pushed back due to technical difficulties, scheduling issues and roster shuffles.
4 out of the 8 teams that were participating in HBA have experienced roster changes or disbandment. myInsanity dropped out due to roster changes, Virtus.Pro lost most of their roster and is currently building back from the ground up, Roccat & G2 both used their wild cards but dropped out, most likely due to empty spots as well. Their drop-out allowed Kiev6-1 the opportunity to automatically advance to the semifinals. Changes don't end there. Team Liquid, was unable to play today due to scheduling, so Team Dignitas will come in as a last minute substitute.
