In celebration of the holidays, Blizzard has a whole slew of goodies both old and new in store.
In the Nexus, all Blizzard universes bleed together, and apparently so do the holidays. Winter Veil is World of Warcraft's answer to the holiday seasons (or more specifically Christmas). Gifts are exchanged, trees are decorated, and good times are generally had. To celebrate the holidays both real and fictional, Blizzard has announced a whole slew of goodies.
The first goodie under the tower this year is two weeks of free stimpack. Well not exactly, but that's how much you can earn if you play up to 50 games during the event. 15 games nets you a cool four days, and the full 50 grants an additional 10 days on top of that. Games played count towards both, so it is confirmed only 50 games total. This might seem like a lot, but you'll have plenty of time to complete it during the event.
Do you like mounts? I sure hope so, because every single person who logs in during the event gets the Festive Treasure Goblin mount for absolutely free. It's slightly odd for such a stingy creature to display such generosity, but hey, I'm not complaining.
To top it all off, all previous Winter Veil skins and mounts are up for sale again along with two new skins. Greatfather Winter Stitches and Sugarplum Sylvanas are both looking pretty cheery considering the dark nature of the characters themselves. You can purchase these individually, but there are also two bundles arriving for all your Winter Veil needs.
Zagara's price is also getting a slight buff, now being listed as 4k gold and only $6.49. Don't forget that during all of this, the entire shop is still on sale for 50% including the new goodies. There has never been a better time to pick up some new skins.
