Turns out Bob Ross Fan Club really aren't invincible. Heroes Rising qualifiers offered more than it's fair share of surprises.
The Heroes Rising qualifiers had many exciting moments, but nobody could predict Team Blank taking down Bob Ross Fan Club. It's surprising enough that someone was able to end their reign of terror, but Blank went a step further and completely crushed them. It was a one sided game through and through, with BRFC playing on the back foot the entire time.
Bob Ross Fan Club was able to fight their way back from the loser's bracket, but in their game against Team Blaze they forfeit claiming computer problems and lag. Despite not finishing the tournament out, they got far enough to be invited to the main event so don't worry about missing your dosage of Bob Ross Fan Club at the LAN.
Team Blank also went on to the finals, only to be stopped dead by the reversal of Blaze. Freshly invigorated by their, albeit unfortunate, win against BRFC they returned the favor by knocking Blank out 2-1, gaining the highest possible seeding from the tournament in the process.
If you're as excited for the main event as I am, you'll be please to hear some good news. During the hype of the qualifiers, esportsArena was able to raise enough money to meet their kickstarter. This is exciting news for competitive HoTS lovers as almost every team of note will be competing at this LAN event. If you haven't donated and still want to, don't fret, there are still 30 days left before the project is funded.
