MVP.Black wins against Virtus.Pro 2-0 in IEM Shenzen finals.
In the first 'real' showcase of EU versus Korea, MVP.Black had an incredibly strong showing, winning the series 2-0. Favoring a heavy frontline and Kael'thas, they played a very aggressive early game in game #1. Virtus.Pro underestimated the lockdown they had with Anub'arak, Muradin, and Uther. Every positional error was met with stun after stun. Tyrael and Uther invulnerabilities made sure that if they were engaged on, it would be fruitless.
In game #2 MVP.Black shocked us all with a very aggressive auto attack Zeratul, even picking up Shadow Assault. With their backline constantly under threat by Zeratul, Virtus.Pro was unable to heal through the damage with their Brightwing.
Although Korea has come out on top here, this is only one of many international games. Only time will tell which region's meta will come out on top.
