Despite disconnects, server issues, and DDoS attacks, Liquid Heroes defeats Gamers2 3-0 in the best-of-5 Grand Finals.
The Enter the Storm Finals were filled with interesting Hero picks, frustrating DDOS attacks, but most noticeably a dominating performance by Liquid Heroes. Gamers2 was the clear 2nd favorite, but seemed to have hit a brick wall against Team Liquids Muradin and Lost Vikings play.
During the first qualifier, Liquid (then known as El Nexo) went undefeated without losing a single game, and most repeated their impressive performance during the main event. They only lost two games throughout the entirety of the Cup #1 and are seeded into Enter the Storm Cup #2 main event undefeated. Along with Liquid Heroes, Gamers2, Na'Vi and Stigma! will also be seeded for the main event of Cup #2.
And with this 2nd cup, comes a bigger prize pool and a higher level of competition. Expected dates are April 25th - June 7th, but these dates are subject to change. Full playlist of Vods can be found here and replays can be found here.
