Decklist spotlight: The winning decks from GosuCup EU #1, featuring N’Zoth Shaman

Eric “Wirer” Wirtz from the Netherlands became the first GosuCup champion of the new year with a cool twist in his line-up.

In a cup that featured the talents of Dima “Rdu” Radu, Thijs “ThijsNL” Molendijk, Petar “Gaara” Stevanovic and Esteban “AKAWonder” Serrano, among others, an unlikely champion was crowned. Wirer, a relatively unknown player from the Netherlands, walked a challenging road to the GosuCup HCT EU #1 championship, defeating the likes of Alexey “ShtanUdachi” Barsukov and Philipp “Nicslay” Hehn along the way.

Wirer chose fairly standard decks to play on his way to the win, consisting of Miracle Rogue, Jade Druid and RenoLock with a couple of twists. The first is the use of Control Warrior instead of the more popular Pirate or Dragon builds. The second is a bigger one: A living and breathing N’Zoth Shaman.

The Shaman class is basically Jade Aggro and Jade Midrange builds nowadays, which makes Wirer’s choice to N’Zoth even cooler. His deck uses a couple of Gadgetzan cards such as [card]white eyes[/card] and [card]jinyu waterspeaker[/card] for extra survivability and the rest is just more heals and more AoEs.
