The well-dressed Don Han'Cho joins the battle for the Goblin city, lending his strength to whatever minion is in your hand.
In the first week after Blizzcon, a lot of new cards have been revealed. Keeping the theme of three factions, this week the Grimy Goons stood in the spotlight, with almost every card revealed belonging to their faction. Synergizing with Hunters, Paladins and Warrior the aggressive mobsters focus mostly on buffing in-hand cards, to allow for a much stronger board presence. Today the week of the Grimy Goons concluded with their leader, Don Han'Cho, being revealed on the expansion's website. Earlier this week Hunters got a treat, with their second epic card and the class legendary being revealed.

The two-headed menace boasts a lot of stats for its cost - netting 10/11. However, as is the theme with the Grimy Goons, it will land on a random minion. Having a 13/13 [card]Ragnaros the Firelord[/card] doesn't make much of a difference, except if paired with cards like [card]Defender of Argus[/card]. However, how does an 11/11 [card]Tirion Fordring[/card] sound? Perhaps a 9/14 [card]Grommash Hellscream[/card], to hit your opponent for 14 when enraged? As for Hunters, Don Han'Cho doesn't really have a nice, buffable follow-up. An 8/8 [card]Infested Wolf[/card] is not too shabby either, most certainly not, but so far it feels like The Don suits Hunters the least.

Did someone say [card]Infested Wolf[/card] was a good card for Hunters? Well, hello there, here is its smaller, but far stronger brother. To start with, a 1 mana 1/1 reduction but having the same deathrattle is already an increase in power. That's not where Rat Pack's power ends, though. If this is buffed by [card]Abusive Sergeant[/card], it will drop 4 1/1 rats. The same goes for a buff received by [card]Houndmaster[/card], which follows the curve nicely. It's hard to say whether or not Hunters will go full hand-buff mechanic, but regardless of it, Rat Pack seems like Hunters' new staple.

When Hunter legendaries are announced, they are always thoroughly evaluated. With every expansion there is hope for finally a good one, but so far [card]Gahz'rilla[/card], the combo of [card]Acidmaw[/card]&[card]Dreadscale[/card] and [card]Princess Huhuran[/card] have all failed miserably. Looking at the new one, Knuckles, one wonders what potential it holds. It's reminiscent of [card]Oasis Snapjaw[/card], boasting incredible health stats but with a potentially painful effect. Again following the Grimy Goons' theme, having Knuckles buffed is a reward on its own. It combines the aggressive aspect of Hunters with a board controlling option, especially if it's granted taunt by [card]Houndmaster[/card]. Knuckles is not a build-around card per se, but it might just fill up the 5-cost slot in Hunters as it's not a slot with much competition.
