Here are the 20 players that will represent Europe at the WESG Kyiv finals

Hearthstone stars such as Xixo, Crane, Neirea and Orange are one step closer to the $300,000 main event.

For the World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) circuit, the month of September passed under the sign of the European regional qualifiers. Twelve separate opens were held between September 3-20, covering the entirety of the old continent. Several countries, including Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Russia, Ukraine, Norway and Poland were given their separate qualifiers, while the remaining countries were collected in multi-national brackets.

The majority of players who qualified for the Kyiv European Finals – the LAN event to determine the eight names who are the qualify for the grand finals in China later in the year – are less known, but there are a couple of Hearthstone veterans who will be the main storylines to follow in the Ukaininan capitol. Complexity Gaming’s Loyan and Crane both made it through their regional qualifiers, with their team-mate and SeatStory champion SuperJJ barely missing the top two in the German qualifier, where Xixo and BunnyHoppor reigned supreme. In Sweden, former Archon player Orange finished behind qualifier winner Fluffy to punch his ticket to Kyiv, while in Ukraine Team Liquid’s Neirea remained the only familiar name to reach the deep rounds of the bracket after two times HCT Europe finalist DrHippi and Freeze Mage specialist Laughing faced early eliminations.
