Last night, the Americas region found eight players to compete at the $80,000 championship next month. Here are their decklists.
We knew the Americas metagame was going to be vastly different than what we saw in Europe the previous weekend, with the former preferring a faster playstyle as opposed to the slow, control metagame of the latter. Let's have a look at what survived the three days of Tavern Hero and Preliminaries fights.
Despite being the most represented archetype of all, Miracle Rogue made it to only half of the lineups advancing from the brackets. Although Valeera's success was expected to be higher, especially given the fact how many skilled Rogue players are in the region, Miracle Rogue almost completely abolished N'Zoth Paladin from the field.
Like in Europe, some Shaman deck was in all winning lineups, confirming the class to be on top of the food chain right now. A lot of love was given to Warlock (in 7/8 line-ups) and Warrior (in 6/8 line-ups).
Surprisingly, two Hunter players survived the culling in PNC and Napoleon. The latter played J4CKICHAN's famous [card]Desert Camel[/card] midrange build, a bold bet given the current poor state of the class.
