After a talent-stacked Swiss round, only 16 players advanced to the group stages on Saturday.
On Friday the $30.000 Truesilver Championship started with a Swiss round. Having one of the most stacked line-ups recently seen in tournaments, the tournament promised early clashes between some of the biggest names in Hearthstone. Notable players dropping in the tournament are former World Champion Firebat, recent ESL Katowice winner AKAWonder and Czech powerhouse StanCifka.
For Team Archon's player Orange the boat was missed by less than an inch, with him having the same record as 8 of the players that did make it through to the group stages. Eventually it was tiebreaker score which decided that the young Swede would not advance.
