Naiman and DrHippi fought on Sunday for the first European Championship title of the new year. This is what they brought to the tournament.
The two finalists had a lot of common lineup-wise. Both brought Face Hunter – the only two players to do so, in fact – and both played the new Freeze Mage made by LaughingHS. Where DrHippi’s other two classes were the very standard Druid and Zoo, Naiman had gone for Patrons, a deck that remained perma-banned throughout the tournament, and an unexpected Midrange Paladin, designed to counter the influx of Warlocks and Druids in the meta.
