Hearthstone G2 Class Legends is underway with Warlock and Druid on the forefront

Today, Hearthstone’s G2 Class Legends went underway. Here are the games that happened today, and the ones that are lined up for tomorrow:

Zetalot took down StanCifka 3-2 in a close set at the start of the day, an arguable upset, considering Zetalot had to play Priest against Cifka's Handlock all series long. The Pole will play ThijsNL next, the latter taking down Kolento convincigly. Kolento’s Warlocks proved to be no match for Thijs’ Druids and this was a relatively quick set. 

Ekop edged out Ostkaka in what was a very close set. These two players have traded sets in the past and after this set Ekop has the lead in sets, despite being lower ranked. Ekop will play Crane333 next.

In what proved to be another close set, Crane clutched it out against Rdu in game 5. In the past Crane333 has struggled againstRdu, but this time he was able to manage a victory and goes on to play Ekop next. Following was action in the bottom part of the bracket, Lifecoach and AKAWonder prevailed over poker stars Elky and Marc Kennedy, respectively, and will fight each other tomorrow for a spot in the semi finals. 

The last matches of the day saw two more victories for Germany at the hands of SuperJJ and Gaara. The Complexity player showcased why he's considered a Rogue master and 3-1's Hoej's Druid, while Gaara took a tough 3-2 against Orange's Hunter, the only one in the tournament. The fellow countrymen will wrap up the quarter finals tomorrow, before the tournament moves on to the semis.
