Following the recent addition of Tang “Eloise” Haiyun, Tempo Storm now grow further as they sign ladder warrior David “JustSaiyan” Shan.
Although not what one would call a tournament player, JustSaiyan is far from a no-name in the Hearthstone scene. The American is known as a deck perfectionist, fine-tuning decks for both ladder and tournament play. His touch is felt in the modern iterations of Demonlock, the [card]Scarlet Crusader[/card] Oil Rogue, as well as the tempo Paladin which was used by James “Firebat” Kostesich as he won the debut edition of The Pinnacle.
JustSaiyan’s signing follows Tempo Storm’s pattern of acquiring potential talent rather than known stars. As the official statement reminds the readership, T/S is the team that nurtured players like Petar “Gaara” Stevanovic and Drew “TidesofTime” Biessener but has also recognized and tried to tap the potential in their more recent signings as well, including Chinese female player Eloise and before that lesser known Magic: The Gathering player Weiseguy.
Not counting Arena player and streamer Johnnie “Ratsmah” Lee, Tempo Storm’s competitive roster now grows to five players, a timely expansion coming in a tough period for the team where good results across the board are scarce.
