The Chinese juggernaut and the surprise from the CN vs. EU Season 2 are currently 6-0, guaranteeing them a place in the top 8.

For two days now, TiddlerCelestial has been beating players at DreamHack Summer. Representing the cream of the crop of the Chinese scene, the Blizzcon silver medalist flew from overseas with the ambition to win his first tournament on foreign soil and so far he’s been doing fantastically. His opponents so far include Ikarus, Island, Schismatron, Rosen, Kanelsnurr and Ostkaka and between all matches, Tiddler is 18-5 in games.

The Team Celestial founder is also close to beating some GosuRankings records. Never in the history of the game has a player broken the 1,300 barrier and the last time the one who got closest was Tiddler himself, sitting at 1,290 before the BlizzCon grand final. Currently at 1,274 Tiddler will need two more wins and he’ll climb to unparalleled heights.

His opponent in the final swiss round, however, is no slouch either. Coming from a second place at EU vs CN Season 2, Greek player Hawkeye went through some hellish matches, dealing losses to Hyped, LSK, AKAWonder, Frezzar, Tiddler’s team-mate FrozenIce and most recently Kaldi. He, too, is at a cumulative 18-5 in games, making him equal with TiddlerCelestial. The winner between them two will advance to the playoffs with the highest seed and a perfect record.

Still in the tournament are all the 5-1 players as well, who will be matched against each other in Round 7. Those include:

France Un33d
Canada PurpleDrank
Norway Profix
United States Chakki
Finland NikotheGreat
Sweden Ostkaka
Spain AKAWonder
United States Dog
Greece LetMeFarM
Norway Retord
Iceland Kaldi
Hong Kong Amaz
