Dead by Daylight players are taking a trip to Camp Crystal Lake.
Dead by Daylight is celebrating its 10th anniversary this June, and part of the celebrations includes the arrival of a long-awaited killer: Jason Voorhees. The iconic killer with a hockey mask is set to join Dead by Daylight on 16 June, 2026, two days after the game’s 10th anniversary on 14 June, 2026.

When is Jason Voorhees coming to Dead by Daylight?
Dead by Daylight has a long history of collaborating with popular horror franchises for in-game cosmetics, playable characters, and maps. The game already sports crossovers with franchises like Halloween, Evil Dead, Silent Hill, Chucky, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Saw, and Scream. The list is long, and frankly, awe-inspiring–but one killer has been notoriously excluded from said list for years.
This year, developer Behaviour Interactive is righting that wrong. A new trailer released this week confirmed the game’s upcoming DLC Dead by Daylight: Jason, with the accompanying description:
“The mask is on. The machete is dripping. The massacre has begun. Dead by Daylight: Jason. 06. 16. 26.
“Trapped forever in a realm of eldritch evil where even death is not an escape, four determined Survivors face a bloodthirsty Killer in a vicious game of nerve and wits. Pick a side and step into a world of tension and terror with horror gaming's best asymmetrical multiplayer.”
Further details regarding the Dead by Daylight x Friday the 13th collaboration have not been announced yet–such as whether more characters from the movie franchise will be included in this DLC, or whether the movies’ iconic location Camp Crystal Lake itself will appear as a map.
However, we do know the collaboration will launch on 16 June, 2026. For now, fans can look forward to more details for the crossover to come over the next few weeks.
