Capcom shares new casting details ahead of next week’s release.
With Resident Evil Requiem landing next week, hype among fans of the franchise is hitting a fever pitch, and Capcom has now confirmed the game's casting details. Nick Apostolides will reprise his role as Leon S. Kennedy.

The actor returns for the ninth mainline entry in the long-running franchise, having previously portrayed Leon in the recent Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4 remakes, as well as the Netflix series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. Apostolides is the fifth actor to voice the character in the franchise, and the third to reprise the role across multiple projects successively, succeeding Matthew Mercer.
In addition to voicing Leon, Apostolides also provided motion capture for the unnamed truck driver in Resident Evil 2 and the helicopter pilot featured in the post-credits scene of the Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways DLC.
Angela Sant’Albano makes her video game debut as Grace Ashcroft
Capcom also confirmed the casting of Grace Ashcroft, the female protagonist of the game. Angela Sant’Albano will voice Grace Ashcroft, marking her first video game role.

Sant’Albano previously appeared in Season 3 of Industry, HBO Max’s I Hate Suzie, and Apple TV’s The Buccaneers, and made her feature film debut in 2016’s Genius alongside Nicole Kidman, Laura Linney and Colin Firth.
Set 30 years after the destruction of Raccoon City in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Resident Evil Requiem follows FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft as she investigates a string of murders tied to her mother, Alyssa Ashcroft. Over the course of the story, both Grace and Leon return to the ruins of Raccoon City.
Resident Evil Requiem launches on 27 February, 2026.
