The biggest announcements and trailers from PlayStation's February 2026 State of Play

PlayStation’s latest State of Play dropped multiple new announcements, including a look at the upcoming God of War Trilogy Remake. 

Sony Interactive Entertainment held an hour-long State of Play presentation this week, showing off new trailers and announcements for upcoming PlayStation 5 video games. The show finally gave us a new look at Silent Hill Townfall, along with new game reveals for God of War Sons of Sparta, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, and more. 

Here’s everything you missed in the February 2026 State of Play:

Ghost of Yōtei: Legends (10 March, 2026)

Ghost of Yōtei is getting a multiplayer expansion next month, with a series of co-op story missions, a survival mode, and an upcoming raid.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach (19 March, 2026)

Death Standing 2: On the Beach is officially coming to PC next month. 

4:Loop (TBA)

J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Games showed off more details for its upcoming time loop-themed multiplayer video game. 

Pragmata (24 April, 2026)

Capcom showed off a better look at the world of its upcoming sci-fi third-person action game Pragmata with this new trailer. 

Resident Evil Requiem (27 February, 2026)

While this new trailer didn’t have much new content to show Resident Evil fans, we did get a tantalising glimpse of Leon’s upcoming return to the Raccoon City Police Department.

Dead or Alive 6 Last Round/new game tease (25 June, 2026)

The Dead or Alive fighting game franchise is making a big comeback. Dead or Alive 6 Last Round features 29 playable characters (24 from the original release, and five additional DLC fighters from DOA6), bringing the sixth mainline entry back with a bang. An all-new Dead or Alive game is also in development. 

Control Resonant (TBA 2026)

Remedy Entertainment showed off more gameplay for Control Resonant today, featuring new protagonist Dylan Faden hunting down a powerful Resonant enemy in Manhattan. 

Neva: Prologue DLC (19 February, 2026)

This prequel DLC to Neva takes players back to its enchanting world, in a story set before the events of the first game.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse (2026)

Set 23 years after Castlevania Dracula's Curse, follow Trevor Belmont's successor in an all-new 2D Castlevania game from Konami, Evil Empire and Motion Twin.

Silent Hill Townfall follows a new protagonist named Simon, as he explores an abandoned fishing town filled with horrors.

Kena: Scars of Kosmora (2026)

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is officially getting a sequel, launching on PlayStation 5 later this year.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered (3 March, 2026)

Legacy of Kain: Defiance is officially making a comeback, with HD remastered visuals, better controls, and an improved camera. 

Brigandine: Abyss (2026)

The tactical RPG series Brigandine is getting a sequel this year.

Crimson Moon (2026)

Crimson Moon is an action-adventure RPG that has players step into the boots of a Nephilim, fighting the forces of hell to save humanity either solo or in two-player co-op.

Beast of Reincarnation (4 August, 2026)

Game Freak’s new video game Beast of Reincarnation is now officially launching this August.

Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition (13 February, 2026)

Rayman is back! This re-release of the original game comes with a bunch of goodies for fans to enjoy, including behind-the-scenes developer interviews.

Mina the Hollower (Spring 2026)

Yacht Club Games will finally launch Mina the Hollower this Spring, with a playable demo available tomorrow.

Yakoh Shinobi Ops (2027)

Yakoh Shinobi Ops has four players team up in a co-op multiplayer stealth game with top-down gameplay. 

Project Windless (TBA)

Krafton’s new action-adventure game stars a formidable chicken, who dispatches hordes of enemies with ease.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer (2026)

Star Wars: Galactic Racer is a racing game that takes on the phenomenon of pod-racing, a Tatooine-based sport that sees players embark on unsanctioned racing circuits with incredibly shabby racing vehicles. 

007: First Light (27 May, 2026)

James Bond’s origin story unfolds in this new game, from Hitman maker IO Interactive.

Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2 (27 August, 2026)

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (HD Collection version) launch as a bundle in this collection.

Darwin’s Paradox! (2 April, 2026)

This upcoming stealth game pays homage to Metal Gear Solid’s iconic stealth gameplay, starring a cunning octopus.

Saros (30 April, 2026)

Saros is a roguelike action-adventure game from Returnal developer Housemarque, and shows off more gameplay in the above trailer.

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls (6 August, 2026)

A new trailer for this upcoming Marvel fighting game not only reveals its release date, but three new fighters as well: Wolverine, Magik, and Danger.

God of War Trilogy remake (TBA)

The classic Greek-era God of War trilogy is getting a remake at developer Santa Monica Studio, with original voice actor T.J. Carson reprising his role as Kratos.
