Sucker Punch’s open-world samurai game Ghost of Yōtei is getting a big content drop.
Sucker Punch Productions has officially announced a release date for Ghost of Yōtei’s upcoming multiplayer game mode Legends: 10 March, 2026. Ghost of Yōtei: Legends will see players team up in squads of four to take on brand-new co-op missions, where they will wipe out demons and attempt to take down monstrous versions of the Yōtei Six.

Ghost of Yōtei Legends is officially launching in March 2026
Ghost of Yōtei Legends, an online co-op multiplayer mode, is officially launching in Patch 1.5 next month. The mode will serve as a free post-launch expansion Ghost of Yōtei, as well as a spiritual successor to Ghost of Tsushima’s original Legends mode. Here, players can team up in teams of four to take down monstrous versions of the Yōtei Six.
Ghost of Yōtei Legends will consist of four maps and three mission types. In Survival, players will fight to survive against waves of enemies, while attempting to control locations on the map. In Story, players will progress through a more linear co-op story campaign consisting of 12 missions, with each set of three missions unlocking a large-scale Yōtei Six bossfight called an Incursion.
Players will only face four members of the Yōtei Six in these incursions: the Spider, the Oni, the Kitsune, or the Snake. The Dragon and Lord Saito will also be available for players to challenge in April, when Sucker Punch Productions releases a new Raid for the game.
Four classes will be available in Ghost of Yōtei Legends: Samurai, Archer, Mercenary, or Shinobi, with each class excelling at different weapon and combat systems. Players will also earn loot and cosmetics to finetune their favourite characters’ look and combat style, practice combat and archery in the Legends lobby, or even play some casual Zeni Hajiki.
