Fortnite Chapter 7 is almost here.
Epic Games is ending Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 6 with a bang. The developer has released a teaser for Chapter 6’s Zero Hour finale live event, in which everyone will be able to participate in real time towards the end of November. The event will feature appearances from this Chapter’s biggest crossover characters, including the likes of Star Wars' X-Wings, Godzilla and Kong, and Homer Simpson.
The teaser also features Kill Bill’s protagonist the Bride, in an apparent Chapter 7 teaser.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Zero Hour live event: When to watch and how to join
Fortnite’s annual “Chapters” of content typically run for four seasons of live-service updates spread out across an entire year. However, Chapter 6 broke this pattern with four seasons and two “mini seasons,” with one centred around the addition of an AI Darth Vader chatbot, and another following a crossover with The Simpsons.
All of that comes to a climax in Chapter 6’s big Zero Hour finale live event, which will be playable for all players on 29 November at exactly 11am PT (30 November, 3am GMT+8). This is a one-time live event, which means that all players will have to be ready and waiting to jump in when it begins. Judging by past live events, they simply have to enter the game ahead of time, and wait until the event becomes available as its own playable in-game mode to join in. Following its conclusion, we’ll likely get a sneak peek at what Epic has planned for Chapter 7.
We do get a small glimpse of Chapter 7’s content in this teaser, however. The teaser follows Jones–dressed in his classic outfit, notably–running through a chaotic battlefield with the likes of Godzilla, King Kong, Star Wars X-Wings, a Homer Simpson kaiju, and a few of Chapter 6’s original characters.
The main protagonist of Quentin Tarantino’s classic duology Kill Bill, The Bride, played by Uma Thurman, also appears to help out Jonesy in the midst of all this fighting. The Bride is making a first-time appearance in Fortnite here, meaning that she will likely be one of Chapter 7 Season 1’s cosmetics.
Interestingly, Tarantino was also spotted on the red carpet of Fortnite’s Chapter 7 premiere with Uma Thurman:
This could suggest that the Kill Bill crossover involves the two more than it would initially seem. The event was even held at Los Angeles’ The Vista Theatre, which is owned by Tarantino himself.
Fortnite Chapter 6’s Zero Hour finale event will kick off on 29 November, 2025.
