Fallout Season 2 trailer shows off New Vegas, Deathclaw fights, and Mr. House's unlikely return

Picking up where Season 1 left off, Fallout Season 2 is heading to New Vegas.

Amazon Prime Video has released a full trailer for Fallout Season 2, which hits the streaming service next month. This season picks up right after the events of Season 1’s finale, with Lucy and the Ghoul cutting through the Mojave wasteland towards New Vegas. The trailer has plenty of nods and references for Fallout: New Vegas fans to catch, including Mr. House himself making an appearance.

Amazon Prime Video has finally given fans a new trailer for Fallout Season 2, a new season of the acclaimed video game adaptation that premiered in April last year. This season features New Vegas as its locale, a setting first introduced in Obsidian Entertainment’s spin-off RPG Fallout: New Vegas. While the first season seemed to hint at the destruction of New Vegas, the city appears to be alive and well in Season 2–which should be set some years after the game.

While we remain unclear on the exact circumstances that lead Lucy and the Ghoul to New Vegas, we do know that the duo left to travel across the Mojave Wasteland in search of Lucy's father. The man was revealed to be far from the person Lucy thought he was, and holds secrets related to the Ghoul’s own past. Hence, their interests are aligned in Season 2, if only for a while.

Eagle-eyed fans will notice plenty of game references in this trailer, from the Elvis impersonators known as the Kings, to an actual Deathclaw appearance at long last. The Deathclaw appears to be tangling with a Power Armour-wearing individual, a concept which any Fallout player will be well-accustomed with. Former Fallout: New Vegas antagonist (depending on the player’s choices, that is) Mr. House also pops up in the trailer via a monitor.

Mr. House perishes in one of Fallout: New Vegas' endings, so it appears that this series is canonising the ending in which he lives. Regardless, Justin Theroux joins the cast as Mr. House, along with newcomers Kumail Nanjiani and Macaulay Culkin. Ella Prunell, Walton Goggins, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner also star.

Fallout Season 2 premieres on Amazon Prime Video on 17 December, 2025, with new episodes dropping weekly.
