Fallout Season 2 boasts a crossover with Fallout: New Vegas.
This week’s Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase dropped a highly-anticipated first look at Fallout Season 2. The live-action adaptation is taking on the setting of Fallout: New Vegas in its sophomore outing, as Lucy and the Ghoul travel across the wastelands of fallen Las Vegas and encounter… Deathclaws? At last!

Fallout Season 2 takes the cast to New Vegas
Fallout Season 2 is nigh, and we have the trailer to prove it. This week, Amazon Prime Video dropped a first look at the upcoming season, which features a tie-in with Obsidian Entertainment’s action-RPG Fallout: New Vegas. In the trailer, we see Lucy and the Ghoul travel to sunny New Vegas, one of the few remaining pockets of civilisation in the wasteland.
Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Kyle McLachlan, and Aaron Moten can all be seen returning to their roles in the above trailer, albeit on separate journeys. We also see the surprise casting of Justin Theroux as Mr. House, a familiar and very important face from Fallout: New Vegas.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, we see the Ghoul and Lucy encounter one of the wasteland’s deadliest threats: a Deathclaw, which appears to have been built practically for the series. We don’t see the outcome of this encounter, but we can’t imagine it ends well for either of them.
Fallout Season 2 starts streaming on Amazon Prime Video on 17 December, 2025.
