Everything you missed from Nintendo’s July Partner Showcase in one place.
This week, Nintendo held a Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase livestream to show off upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. We got new looks at highly-anticipated games like Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. However, we did not get more information on first-party exclusives for the brand-new Nintendo Switch 2.
Hopefully, a full-fat Nintendo Direct is on its way in the months ahead. In the meantime, here's the biggest news from this Nintendo Direct:
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection (2026)
Capcom describes Monster Hunter Stories 3 as such:
“Twin Rathalos born in a twist of fate. Their appearance sets the stage for a new tale of Riders and Rathalos to unfold. Become a Rider, bond with monsters, and explore the vibrant world of Monster Hunter in this next evolution of the Monster Hunter Stories series.”
Once Upon a Katamari (24 October, 2025)
Nintendo kept the ball rolling by unveiling a new entry in the Katamari Damacy franchise. This puzzle action-adventure game has players roll their Katamari through various time periods to rebuild the starry sky. A KatamariBall multiplayer mode is also available.
Just Dance 2026 (14 October, 2025)
40 new tracks are coming to Just Dance 2026, including APT. by ROSÉ & Bruno Mars, Houdini by Dua Lipa, and All Star by Smash Mouth.
Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero (14 November, 2025)
The next Budokai Tenkaichi game is coming to Nintendo Switch consoles later this year.
Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted (23 October, 2025)
The classic Plants vs. Zombies tower defense game is getting remastered visuals and multiplayer gameplay later this year.
EA Sports FC 26 (26 September, 2025)
The successor to the FIFA franchise, EA Sports FC 26, launches a new annual installment for the Nintendo Switch in two months.
Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac (26 September, 2025)
Polished graphics, expanded levels, quality-of-life improvements, and voice acting are coming to Pac-Man World 2 in this remaster.
Persona 3 Reload (23 October, 2025)
Is that the Grim Reaper? No, it’s Persona 3 Reload, developer Atlus’ remake of the iconic turn-based RPG. Its sequel is also getting a remake, entitled Persona 4 Revival.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment (Winter 2026)
This spin-off to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launches later this year with hack-and-slash gameplay. Read more about it here.
EA Sports Madden NFL 26 (14 August, 2025)
The next Madden NFL game is landing on Nintendo Switch devices in just two weeks.
Final Fantasy Tactics–The Ivalice Chronicles (30 September, 2025)
Ramza Beoulve and his companions will shape the future of Ivalice in this remake of an acclaimed Final Fantasy spin-off game.
Chillin' by the Fire (out now)
This campfire simulator is now available on the Nintendo Switch 2.
Apex Legends (5 August, 2025)
Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale game Apex Legends launches on Nintendo Switch consoles next month.
Hela (2026)
This interesting-looking adventure game has players explore the world of Scandinavian folklore as a wee little mouse. The game can also be played in split-screen multiplayer.
Star Wars Outlaws (4 September, 2025)
Ubisoft’s open-world Star Wars action-adventure game follows Kay Vess and Nix, as they fight to make a name for themselves in an unforgiving galaxy. You can read our review of the game here.
Cronos: The New Dawn (31 July, 2025)
Silent Hill 2 remake developer Bloober Team has set its next sci-fi horror game: Cronos: The New Dawn. Drawing inspiration from the real-life Kraków district of Nowa Huta, the world of Cronos challenges players to survive by bending time itself.
Yakuza Kiwami & Yakuza Kiwami 2 (13 November, 2025)
Yakuza Kiwami & Yakuza Kiwami 2 are coming to Nintendo Switch consoles this November .
