Entity part ways with Pure

After an incredible end of the season with Entity, it’s time for Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko to look for new opportunities.

The 2022 Dota Pro Circuit was a true roller coaster for both Entity and for Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko. The Indian organization entered the Western Europe regional league by signing the lower division team Creepwave. They made their way to Division I, but the second Tour didn’t end on a high note, in fact, the team barely avoided relegation back to Division 2 by winning a tiebreaker match. Heading to the third and final Tour of the DPC, Entity lost their carry player, Remco "Crystallis" Arets, who left the squad to join Team Secret.

Around the same time, towards the end of the second Tour, Pure was extremely close to end his career even before making it into the high ranks of top tier players. He was kicked from the Virtus.pro (outsiders) line-up after drawing a pro-Russian symbol on the minimap. The incident got his team disqualified from the EEU regional league in the second Tour, and although he made a public apology and explained that he had no bad intentions, the Dota 2 community as a whole was not ready to forgive him that easily.

Entity took a lot of flame when they announced the young Russian carry to have joined the team ahead of the third Tour, and the only thing that cleared Pure’s image was his absolutely incredible performance.

Right after he joined the team, Entity qualified for the last Major of the DPC then went on completely dominating the WEU regional qualifiers for The International 11, claiming a ticket at the biggest tournament of the year without dropping a single game.

At TI11, Entity got eliminated in the 9th-12th place, but even so, their run remains one of the most exciting ones, especially their playoffs opening match, which broke the record for the longest game ever played during a TI Main Event. Before being eliminated by Team Liquid, in the second round of the lower bracket, Entity knocked Royal Never Give Up out of contention in a breath taking 107 minutes best-of-one affair.

However, despite the constant growth since Pure joined their ranks, Entity, will not have him on their side for the next DPC season.

Entity current roster:

Daniel “Stormstormer” Schoetzau
Tobias “Tobi” Buchner
Vladislav “Kataomi`” Semenov
Dzmitry “Fishman” Palishchuk

There are only a couple of days left before the shuffle window will officially close. Both Entity and Pure have time until December 9 at 11:59 am PT to announce their arrangements for the 2023 Dota Pro Circuit season.
