AS Monaco Gambit move entire roster to inactive status

Following an abysmal 1-6 performance in the Eastern Europe Division 1 of the Winter Tour, AS Monaco Gambit are looking into big changes.

AS Monaco Gambit were forced to rebuild their Dota 2 team last year when despite placing third in both Dota Pro Circuit seasons and qualifying to both Majors, their captain Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev, along with mid laner Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko left the organization to join Natus Vincere and forced their teammates to play the last Major before TI10 with stand-ins.

Their departure created a void in the roster that ASM Gambit hasn’t been able to fill, although they went through several replacements. The current line-up was finalized during the post TI10 shuffle with the signing of Albert “alberkaaa” Chernoivanov, Andrei “meLes” Romanov, and Sergey “HappyDyurara” Horonzhiy, but the new additions didn’t make the difference and the team is now relegated to Division II for the next tour.

Gambit hold two teams in the Eastern Europe regional league, however the secondary line-up competed in Division II and couldn't clinch a promotion spot. They placed fifth this season, which means that the organization will have to fight in the Spring Tour with two teams in the second division.

It remains to be seen if Gambit will keep their both rosters for the next season, given that immediately after the Easter Europe regional league was over last night they announced the entire main roster being moved to inactive status.
