Team Secret have received the final direct invite for DAC 2018 Major expected to take place in the spring.
It is no surprise that the European titans received the last invite to one China's Majors in the upcoming year. Team Secret ended last year with the championship title for DreamLeague Season 8 Major and started off 2018 claiming a championship title at Captains Draft 4.0 Minor. The team is the leader of the Pro Circuit rankings, sitting at the top with a cool 1380 points - almost 500 ahead of the next teams in line, Virtus.pro and Team Liquid.
Sixteen teams will be battling it out for the honor of the title and the largest cut of the reward at the Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai, China in the spring of 2018.
Invites have already been issued to the defending Champions - Invictus Gaming, as well as Vici Gaming, Newbee, Team Liquid and Virtus.pro.
A total of 10 teams will claim a spot at the through the qualifiers for the six big regions: Europe, CIS, Southeast Asia, China, SA and NA. Details on the open and closed format and dates for the qualifiers will be forthcoming.
The DAC 2018 Major main event will take place at the Oriental Sports Centerin Shanghai, China from March 30 to the 7th of April with the $1,000,000 prize pool and a total of 1500 TI8 qualifying points up for grabs.
