OpTic GamingĀ is the latest team to withdraw from Galaxy Battles II after Valve cut ties with the organization and removed the event's Pro Circuit status.

When Valve issued their statement and decision regarding the removal of Galaxy Battles II from partnership and status as a Major in the Pro Circuit system, several teams including, Team Secret and Team Liquid were quick to renounce their participation in the event.

While the event is no longer associated with the new Pro Circuit system or Valve, organizers have stated the event will continue without the software and technology company's involvement.
