Digital Chaos won last night the bo1 tiebreaker against NP with a beastly Resolut1on on Lone Druid.
The match started off quite good for NP, who had an interesting fight approach, with a support Tiny to toss the enemies into Troll Warlord’s axes or into Brewmaster’s Thunder Clap. With the deadly combo easily achieved by Theeban 'Rose' Siva in the early stages of the game, the kill score went in favor of NP, although Digital Chaos was always prepared for the many rotations and at times they seriously punished EnvY’s squad aggression. On the back of a very tense laning stage, filled with action, DC’s mid lane Queen of Pain finished a fast Orchid Malevolence and Aliwi 'w33' Omar became a key factor in skirmishes. Hunting down NP’s heroes alongside Bounty Hunter, W33 bought enough time for his carry Lone Druid to become a huge problem for NP.
Once DC was feeling confident to group up and force the team fights, around the 30 minute mark, when they also secured the first Aegis for Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok. NP didn’t stand a chance against the Global Silence, which shut down EnvY’s Invoker pretty hard, and the disgustingly strong right clicks of Lone Druid.
By defeating NP, Digital Chaos claimed the American qualifier spot at StarLadder i-league StarSeries 3 and will join the other five qualified teams and the two invited ones at the LAN finals in Shanghai, China. The LAN finals will take place at the International Gymnastics Center from 23rd to 26th of February with a $300,000 prize pool on the line. Up until now, seven out of the eight participants are known, the last direct invite being yet to be announced.
