Sylar is back, joins EHOME

After EHOME released all five of their players, Sylar, VG's former carry, joins EHOME along with two previously released players.

Having gone quiet after his last official match against CDEC Youth on the 1st of July, Liu 'Sylar' Jia Jun, Vici Gaming's carry, has registered himself under EHOME for the fall roster lock. In addition to Sylar, two players previously dropped by EHOME, Wang 'oldchicken' Zhi Yong and Ren 'eLeVeN' Yang Wei, rejoined the roster.

When several Chinese teams dropped their rosters last week, Sylar did not appear on the drop list despite being on VG, a team that participated in the drop. Regardless, the carry player has somehow managed to join EHOME's roster.

Renowned for his safe and stable play style on carries, Sylar will likely be taking Daryl 'iceiceice' Koh Pei Xiang's carry role after the Singaporean player left the team to form Team Faceless, a new SEA team slated to be based in Singapore. As for the other two players, oldchicken is expected to return to his usual mid position and eLeVeN to his offlane role. No definite information has been revealed about the team's former supports Zhang 'LaNm' Zhi Cheng and Lu 'Fenrir' Chao.

Forming in the lock period prior to the Manila Major, the TI6 EHOME roster found limited success, either placing poorly or failing to qualify for LAN events. Unsurprisingly, the team barely made it to TI6, managing to make it to the wildcard. However, once at the event, EHOME was able to reverse their poor performance and achieved a top six finish.

Caught in a contract drama with LGD in the post-Shanghai Major shuffle, Sylar left the organization and joined VG. On paper, VG's roster looked strong, but in-game, they play poorly, resulting in the organization and Sylar suffering an under-whelming season.
