Weplay season 3: Fnatic, Vega and E.Wolves qualify

Of the eight teams that will be attending the Weplay #3 LAN finals, four have been decided after the conclusion of the American, eastern EU and SEA qualifiers.

Assuming the winners of the qualifiers have all accepted their invitation to the LAN finals, four of the eight teams participating in the Weplay #3 LAN finals have been decided, they are: EG, Fnatic, Vega and E.Wolves. The teams got in via direct invite, the SEA qualifiers, the eastern European qualifiers and the American qualifiers respectively.

The other four empty slots at the LAN finals will be filled with three direct invites and the winner of the western European qualifiers. The western European qualifier is currently a two-way battle between Greek team Ad Finem, and Shanghai Major second placer, Liquid. As for the teams likely to be directly invited, OG, VP and Team Secret were said to have received an invite in the original announcement of the event; the participation of the three teams has not been confirmed.

The Weplay season 3 tournament features a $200,000 base prize pool and a LAN event planned for the 28th of April to the 1st of May at the International Exhibition centre in Kiev, Ukraine. The English coverage of the games is provided by joinDOTA.
