After the International 5 the Chinese scene haven’t get the chance to expose its new shuffled teams. The ESL ONE NY Chinese qualifiers kick off with 12 invited teams seeded in two tiers.
From all the Chinese powerhouse squads, the TI5 runners up CDEC Gaming are the only ones who received a direct invite into the Main Event which left the defending Champions of ELS NY 2014, Invictus Gaming with no other option than having to fight for their chance starting from qualifiers.
Same with the previous region qualifiers, the Chinese ones are also having the invited teams spread into two tiers. The tier one seeded teams are placed directly into the Quarter Finals stage of the bracket.

This will be the first time when we are going to see in action the new roster of LGD with Fan 'rOtk' Bai in the captain role while Xu 'BurNing' Zhilei will make his debut with Vici Gaming.
