The playoffs are starting in a little more than an hour, and the eight players are pumped to the max to make their way to the Xi'Ang in China for the StarsWar III event. Who will join Grubby and ToD in the European/American team?
Yesterday the groupstage was played (full information » here, and the eight players were qualified. Impressive that the two replacemers for Fire_de and Miou - FiX and Paladyn both qualified for the playoffs. Other players are Ciara, HoT, Insomnia, FuRy, Protois and Creolophus. The seeds are that the winner of Group A meets the runner-up of Group B etc. It looks to be quite a number of nice games, and the additions to the European/American team will surely be strong with the player content that reached the playoffs.

Matches starts at 14:00 CET. Hopefully the players will show up, as there were some trouble with which players that really did advance. At first the results were to be counted with which players beating who. However later on the rule was changed that map score was to be counted instead. It looks like the second rule will be decisive, and the Top 8 has qualified because of map scores.
Update: Paladyn and DIDI8 plays a best of three match to decide which will advance to the playoffs. Winner is DIDI8.
