Game One
Disaster strikes for HGT as they struggled to find any semblance of momentum in this game. Starting off with an agro-trilane with Axe that went sour very quickly, they quickly realized that it was impossible to take a fight with Cloud9 in the mid game, losing multiple fights in the process. When HGT finally stopped the bleeding, it was too late and bOne7 Nature's Prophet was far ahead of anyone else in the game, picking off everyone who showed on the map; C9 amassed a 17k gold lead at 28 min and when HGT tried defending against this gold lead, they got crushed.
Game Two
Starting off slow, and then transitioning into a mid game where kills were traded back and forth by ganks. the game seemed to be able to go in anyone's favor. But at 20 minutes, C9 won a desicive teamfight, taking down three heroes on HGT and hence securing themselves Rosh. Riding this momentum, C9 took another fight which they won with ease following the big plays made by n0tail on his lion. These two fights and Rosh secured C9 a 20k gold lead at 25 minutes and when HGT made a postioning error when C9 were pushing highground, C9 started the fight and eliminated HGT.
