DAC Day 6 - Rave goes through tiebreakers!

The first round of tiebreakers saw yet another tie, but today is a new day and the three teams, namely TongFu, CDEC-Gaming and Rave, will clash once again to determine which team gets to advance in order to play at Shanghai Grand Stage.

Both Rave and CDEC Gaming had a chance to claim the last place in the playoff stage, but both teams failed to win their second game with a notably dramatic 66 minute match-up between Tongfu and CDEC Gaming.

Round 2

TongFu vs. CDEC-Gaming 1-0

CDEC started out well as their aggressive trilane proved to be successful despite giving up first blood. A safelane Axe was also able to farm well and an early engagement mid gave him a triple kill and an early Blink. Mikasa on a mid Sniper was however a weak link for CDEC and the Chinese were reliant on Void and Axe to pull some weight. On the other side, TongFu played with a roaming Queen of Pain that was able to secure a lot of kills early on and Tidehunter farmed a timely Blink as well. The Blink+Ravage combo caught CDEC off guard and from there on out the team lost momentum. TongFu kept getting the jump on CDEC and quickly burst down the supports and from there on out it was just a matter of time until TongFu pushed in the base.

TongFu vs. Rave 0-1

TongFu grabbed an early lead with good rotations and solid laning. Both teams opted for a jungler and it seemed as if TongFu got away with a greedier draft, including an offlane Doom. Rave however turned on the aggression with their own rotation and the teamfight potential from having a Tidehunter proved to be a bigger threat than TongFu's Blackhole. Rave spiraled out of control quite quickly with a timely Orchid on their Storm Spirit. He was able to pick off heroes right from the start and coupled with a double Ravage, Rave took out TongFu.
