HellRaisers managed to take down Power Rangers in the UB final to become the first grand finalist of the DAC European qualifiers. PR will now have to take on Natus Vincere, who eliminated both Alliance and Empire in their respective Lower Bracket matches.
It has been quite a busy day for the DAC European division, as we are heading to the emergence of the European representatives that will be travelling to China later this month. With their strong performance in the Upper Bracket of the qualifiers, HellRaisers managed to secure the first spot in the best-of-five grand final, after an impressive comeback against their Belarusian rivals Power Rangers. They now await the winner of the Lower Bracket final between PR and Na'Vi, which will take place tomorrow at 15:00 CET.
The day opened with the two matches of the second LB round, and both Na'Vi and Alliance were successful in eliminating their respective opponents (Empire and VP.Polar). Advancing to the next round, the two teams met each other in battle, with Na'Vi emerging victorious with a solid performance in the third and final match of the series. While VP.Polar, Empire and Alliance have lost their chance to travel to China, HR, PR and Natus Vincere have now guaranteed at least a wildcard spot. It should be noted that every match that took place today reached a third game, showing the teams' determination to advance further in this very prestigious tournament.
The DAC European qualifiers will conclude tomorrow with the two remaining matches - the LB final and the grand final. Natus Vincere and Power Rangers will enter the arena first at 15:00 CET (BO3), and the winner will face HellRaisers at 19:00 CET (BO5).
