FXOpen among eight qualified for Nexon Starter League

Eight teams will head into the main event of Nexon Starter League on the 7th of July. The tournament will be available for free on DotaTV besides being streamed by both TobiWan and BeyondTheSummit.

The qualifiers of the Nexon Starter League concluded earlier today and from the 47 teams who signed up and showed up for the tournament, 39 of them have been eliminated and teams remain.

The eight qualified team will now have time to get themselves prepared for the main event of the Nexon Starter League where they could potentially win themselves 10 million Won in cash and also a free trip to The International 3 as a spectator.

The main event will take place at GOMTV's Gangnam Studio on the 7th of July with TobiWan and BeyondTheSummit also streaming the event off-site. The tournament will be played fully on Korean own private server and the games will be available from DotaTV without charge.

Of the eight teams who qualified for the main event, we have only heard of FXOpen and it will be exciting to see how the other teams matched up against them. MVP and Startale, Korean Esports giant claiming to be preparing a Dota 2 team, claimed that they will be selecting their Dota 2 team based on the team's performance in the Nexon Starter League.
