China Dota Elite Community, the renowned inhouse league from DotA, is about to enter the DotA 2 world, and redefine the Asian scene once again. The new season will begin on the 1st of June.
China Dota Elite Community, commonly known as CDEC, is about to open its doors once again for Dota 2 players. This distinguished inhouse league was one of the most important leagues back in the DotA days, and it helped many famous players find their way into professional eSports, with Jiang "YYF" Cen and Gong "ZSMJ" Jian being two such examples.
The tournament was created by LGD's owner Pan “Ruru” Jie in an attempt to give young promising players a way to prove themselves worthy of becoming professional players. Here's what he stated about the league:
?
The main reason why we have the CDEC project is to establish a long term systematic environment for eSports players to mature and compete against each other; we hope to provide a better platform for pro-players to scrim and communicate and break the current limitations to create chances for new potentials and pub stars. Please support us.
Each season lasts two weeks, and the first season starts on the 1st of June. Every player who wishes to participate in the league must send an application to CDEC, which will be carefully studied by the tournament's staff, and thus only certain applicants will be selected and allowed into the inhouse league. The games will be played on the Perfect World server, and the company may be able to provide a game key, if the application is proper.
Those who wish to join the league must send their application to [email protected] containing the following information:
