GEST May starts today and follows the same format as last month, four double elimination groups into a single elimination playoff. A total of 16 teams are competing for the prize pool of $1500. The tournament lasts until Sunday.
The stable actor in the South East Asian scene, GIGABYTE eSport Tournament returns with a new monthly edition. Teams such as Mineski, Neolution.Orange Mith.Trust and Zenith are competing this time around. MUFC, however are not, despite their flawless run in the last GEST where they won the entire thing without dropping a single game either in the groups or the playoffs.
Groups A and B start today at 13 CEST / 7pm SGT, games will be best-of-ones and are expected to take one hour according to the schedule. Groups C and D follow the same schedule but will be played tomorrow. Quarter and Semi finals are to be played on Saturday and the final will eventually go down on Sunday, 13 CEST / 7pm SGT.
Matches today will be streamed on DotaTalk's channel and BeyondtheSummit will join the casting roster tomorrow.
