It has been decided by AEDL admin, TeKniqZ, to change the name of the league to GiGa AEDL to reflect the generous sponsorship of GiGa LAN center. GiGa is expected to provide AEDL with newer and better hostbots.
In regards to the new sponsorship, GosuGamers have gathered a few words from both parties.
Statement from Tony "GiGa" Tse, owner of GiGa LAN center:
-"It is an honor to be given the opportunity to sponsor AEDL and we offer our full support to TeKniqZ and his team, I am confident that this will become one of the biggest leagues in the world. Just like our center's mission is to provide gamers with the ability to perform at their best, while at the same time creating the atmosphere and experience other cafes lack, we hope that AEDL can create an atmosphere that other league's lack."
Statement from Sean "TeKniqZ" Mascarenhas:
-"AEDL has grown and grown over the past two months and the hardwork and commitment of Suppy and myself has been shown time and time again in our results, we have reached a stage where we are stable with 4 SG hostbots at our disposal and many tournaments seeking to use our room as a platform for their games, we hope to continue this success with our sponsor GiGa, thank you so much for this opportunity and to Tony the owner of GiGa it is a pleasure working with you as I am sure we will continue on more projects in the future."
