Just hours after Kuro 'KuroKy' Salehi Takhasomi announced that he left MYM and Kevin "Kev" Stegemann left EnRo, another tragic news stokes the DotA scene: Unique eSports disbands.
It mostly happened due to Jeppe 'Valeur` Valeur's decision to retire from the competitive scene, the game not being fun for him anymore since he got the captain position in the team. The recent success (second place at Dreamhack) and the overall nice games were not enough to hold the team together as Nikola 'Minitito' Perkovic also lost his motivation to play and left. The rest of the players left one afther the other and so Unique was disbanded.
Valeur's declaration:
"As I`ve said before I will only play this game as long as it`s fun, and right now the competitive scene is simply not fun for me."
The future of the former members of the team is still unsure, but Jon `The_13abyKnight` Andersen and Alexander `Smiske` Troensegaard apparently want to continue playing together, as stated on Dota-League.com.
The former roster of Unique eSports:
Jeppe 'Valeur' Valeur
Oliver 'DuRuM' Fontaine
Nikola 'Minitito' Perkovic
Jon 'The_13abyKnight' Andersen
Alexander 'Smiske' Troensegaard
